Where to go to get a stock quote?

The stock quote is a group of numbers, which change on a daily basis—change per second to change per minute. From the stock quote you can determine how your stocks have performed. Usually you will have to wait until the following day to know how the stocks performed.

You can find the stock quote in any newspaper that has a financial section and online.  If you are able to wait until the following day to see how the stocks performed, you may do so. However there are some investors who are interested in waiting for the quote to change throughout the day.
